Precision Electrical & Air has successfully accomplished the installation of dual air conditioning systems at a residential property in Tarragindi. This project included the provision and installation of a Daikin ducted system on the upper level along with a Daikin high-wall split system located in the downstairs living room.

Precision Electrical & Air carried out a meticulous installation of the Daikin FDYAN160AV1 16.0kW ducted air conditioning system. The indoor unit was expertly located within the ceiling space above the void, while the condenser was securely installed on the front balcony wall, using rubber feet for improved stability. All connections between the indoor and outdoor units were carefully concealed within ductwork exiting from the ceiling space.

To ensure effective water drainage, two drainage systems were put in place from the indoor unit and safety tray, directing excess water to the external gutter. The installation involved precise positioning of ducting, branch takeoffs, zone motors, and air plenums throughout the ceiling space, enabling seamless integration with the indoor unit. A return air grille was also fitted in the upstairs hallway to optimise the system’s airflow.

A dedicated electrical sub-circuit was established, extending from the switchboard to the outdoor unit. This included an NHP isolation switch conveniently placed next to the condenser. In the upstairs hallway, a MyZone Multipoint touchpad zone controller was installed, providing intuitive temperature control that connects directly to the zone motors.

In the downstairs living room, the Daikin FTXV80W 8.0kW high-wall reverse cycle split system was installed with precision. New ducting, interconnect cables, and copper pair coils were set up to link the indoor and outdoor units, with the condenser mounted on rubber feet to ensure operational stability.

A dedicated electrical circuit was created from the switchboard to the outdoor condenser, which included an NHP isolation switch for enhanced safety. An Aspen Silent+ Mini condensation pump was installed beneath the indoor unit and connected to the nearest stormwater downpipe, ensuring efficient drainage. After installation, the system underwent thorough commissioning to guarantee optimal performance.
