This project included the supply and installation of a Daikin ducted system on the upper level, alongside a Daikin high-wall split system installed in the living room downstairs.

Precision Electrical & Air conducted a comprehensive installation of the Daikin FDYAN160AV1 16.0kW ducted air conditioning system. The indoor unit was strategically placed within the ceiling space above the void, while the condenser was securely mounted on the front balcony wall, using rubber feet for enhanced stability. All connections between the indoor and outdoor units were carefully concealed within ductwork as they exited from the ceiling space.

To guarantee effective water drainage, two drainage systems were installed from the indoor unit and the safety tray leading to the external gutter. The installation involved meticulous placement of ducting, branch take-offs, zone motors, and air plenums throughout the ceiling space, ensuring seamless integration with the indoor unit. A return air grille was also fitted in the upstairs hallway to optimise system airflow.

A dedicated electrical sub-circuit was established, extending from the switchboard to the outdoor unit, with an NHP isolation switch conveniently located adjacent to the condenser. In the upstairs hallway, a MyZone Multipoint touchpad zone controller was installed, providing user-friendly temperature control directly linked to the zone motors.

In the downstairs living room, the Daikin FTXV80W 8.0kW high-wall reverse cycle split system was installed with precision. A dedicated electrical circuit was created from the switchboard to the outdoor condenser, featuring an NHP isolation switch for added safety. An Aspen Silent+ Mini condensation pump was installed beneath the indoor unit and connected to the nearest stormwater downpipe, ensuring efficient drainage. The system underwent extensive commissioning to guarantee optimal performance upon completion.
